Eligibility Criteria

How to Apply for the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship, please follow the instructions below:
- First, apply for a master’s degree; If you do not do this first, your scholarship application will simply be deleted.
- To submit a complete application for your chosen master’s program, follow the steps below:
- Check the admission requirements for that master’s program.
- Apply on time, preferably well in advance; see “When to apply” according to the selected master’s program.
- Download the Master’s application guide.
- Go to the web portal and complete the online application.
- You will receive an email with login details for the OSIRIS Web application, from where you can download the necessary documents. You can also check the status of your application in the OSIRIS online application.
- Pay the registration fee.
- After applying for the master’s program, it is possible to apply for the Utrecht Excellence scholarship from November 1.
- Please note that if the deadline of the master’s program is after the deadline of the scholarship, the application for the master’s program before the deadline of the scholarship must be considered to receive the scholarship.
- You can switch to the Osiris online application after applying for a master’s program.
