The University of Twente Scholarship 2024 located in the Netherlands is a fully funded Master’s degree program for International students. For one year, around 50 scholarships ranging in value from € 3,000 to € 22,000 are offered. Students can, however, earn an extra UTS to cover the costs of the second year.
These scholarships range from government grants to financing from groups or individuals. Furthermore, faculties and the University of Twente Scholarship Foundation (UTS) provide a limited number of scholarships to outstanding candidates. UTS students are eligible for two scholarships, the Kipaji Scholarship and the Professor de Winter Scholarship. There are extra conditions for these scholarships.

In Case of 02 Years Program
In the event of a two-year study program, students might receive an extra UTS equivalent to the first year’s UTS to cover the expenditures of the second year. However, the scholarship will only be extended for the second year if students fulfill the UTS application conditions.
You must have achieved the following:
- An average grade of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the first year’s third quartile.
- At least 50% of European Credits after the first year’s third quartile.
Application Eligibility of the University of Twente Scholarship
To be eligible for a University of Twente Scholarship, you must fulfill the conditions listed below.
- The application for a UT scholarship is independent of the application for a course at the University of Twente.
- Regardless of financing, you must first get an academic acceptance letter.
- You have been (provisionally) accepted to one of the qualified UT Master programs beginning in September 2024/2025. Please remember that it may take up to 8 weeks to obtain your results after submitting your application.
- You must have a student identification number.
- You have not completed a UT (under)graduate program;
- You meet the requirements for getting a visa to enter the Netherlands (if applicable);
- You have passed the general English language test. Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) and an extra 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the speaking skills subscore
- You are not eligible for a Dutch study loan; the University of Twente Scholarship is merit-based. Typically, this signifies that you are among the top 5 to 10% of your class.
