Scholarship Duration
- The duration of the Mexican government scholarships for the undergraduate program is 24 months.
- The duration of Mexican government grants in the master’s mobility program is 12 months.
- The duration of the master’s program is a maximum of 24 months.
- Mexican government doctoral program scholarships are for a maximum of 36 months.
- Mexican government grants for research are for a maximum of 12 months.
Scholarship Benefits
- If you apply for a master’s, bachelor’s, or master’s program, you will receive a monthly stipend equal to four times the monthly value of the Federal Economic Unit at that time.
- If you are applying for a doctorate or a research trip, your scholarship will be five times the monthly value of the Federal Economic Unit at the time.

Eligibility Criteria of Mexican Government Scholarships
- Full-time undergraduate/bachelor’s/master’s students are eligible depending on the program in which they are enrolled.
- Non-Mexican citizens or diplomats or citizens or visa holders may apply.
- You have not received a Mexican scholarship previously.
- You have not received a grant from a federal agency in the past year.
- Candidates with good grades in previous grades can apply.
